Final Patrol: Investigator Peter M. Karic (Retired)

Major Kathryne M. Rohde regrets to announce the passing of retired Investigator Peter M. Karic, age 76, on October 20, 2021. Investigator Karic joined the Division on October 31, 1966 and served as the Troop K Senior Firearms Instructor prior to his appointment to the BCI on June 9, 1988. As an Investigator he served as the Troop K Evidence Custodian until his retirement on August 26, 1994.

He is survived by his two daughters and brother, retired Senior Investigator James F. Karic, SP Poughkeepsie.

There are no formal services planned in the immediate future.
