Final Patrol: Trooper Daniel Charles Pastrick (Retired)
HORSEHEADS, NY - Age 80, of Horseheads, passed away after a courageous battle with Parkinson's on Friday, August 20, 2021. Dan was born in Horseheads, NY to the late John P. and Eliza (Hodge) Pastrick. He proudly served his country with the US Navy, was a member of the Horseheads Legion, a past Governor of the Horseheads Moose, volunteer board member of the Horseheads Youth Bureau and Horseheads Girls Softball Assoc. and was a dedicated NYS Trooper for 20 years. He also owned Pastrick's Sporting Goods Store in Elmira Heights for 15 years. Above all, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Leo "Tom"Pastrick.
He is survived by his wife, Dianna R. Brink Pastrick, children, Shana C. Teeter, Jeffery B. Teeter, Catherine (Daniel) Barr, and Terry Pastrick; Nine grandchildren; brothers, John "Mike" (Becky) Pastrick, James (JoAnne) Pastrick; sisters, JoAnn (Gerald) Shucker, and Jane Frazier; numerous nieces and nephews and many close aud caring friends. The family welcomes relatives and friends to Woodlawn National Cemetery on Friday,August 27, 2021 at 1PM for Dan's Gravesite Service and Military Honors.
