Final Patrol: Trooper Richard A. Garcia (Retired)

It is with deep regret that Major R. Anthony Oliver, Troop Commander, Troop B, announces the death of Trooper Richard A. Garcia. Trooper Garcia passed away on April 6, 2022, at the age of 79. Trooper Garcia served with the State Police from February 16, 1970, until his retirement on May 27, 1999. His last duty assignment was at SP Ray Brook. Trooper Garcia is the father of Troop B, Communication Specialist, Leigh G. Olcott.
