Message from the NYSTPBA Board of Directors

NYSTPBA Newsletter Message from the NYSTPBA Board of Directors Trial Delayed for Woman Charged with Assaulting Trooper The trial against Deyanna Davis, the woman who recklessly drove through a police blockade on June 1, 2020 during the Buffalo riot - severely injuring one of our members, Trooper Ron Ensminger – was set to start on December 12 with jury selection but was instead delayed. An Erie County Court judge granted the delay after it was revealed Ms. Davis was changing defense attorneys. She faces two counts of assault in the first degree as a result of her indictment. A trial has now been set for February 1, 2023, with jury selection to begin on that date.
