Mid-Hudson Chapter Sept 2021 Meeting Minutes

The Mid-Hudson Chapter of the Association of Former New York State Troopers held their monthly meeting on September 2, 2021 at Longabardi’s Restaurant, Wappinger Falls. There were 18 members in attendance. The meeting began with an opening prayer by Ernie Floegel then the Pledge of Allegiance led by President Fred Schall . There was a moment of silence for our deceased members, Men and Women serving in our Military ,and our members deployed across the State.

President - Reported Connecticut Trooper who died in the recent Hurricane IDA was Sgt. Brian Mohl the Brother of NYSP Major George Mohl Troop Commander, Troop L.

Jim Sweeney’s Memorial service is scheduled for October 9 at 11: 00 AM ,St Mary’s Church, Wappinger Fall, NY.

Family will be planning a reception afterwards nearby.

Troop K Awards Dinner will be held on Thursday October 7, 2021- [see the attached flyer]

Retired Z/Sgt. Joseph H Spine age 78, Troop D

Treasurer Frank Christensen reported a total of $7875.06 in the chapters account.

There was no new business or discussion.
