TRI-STATES NEWSLETTER, August 2021

Our Chapter met on August 11th at “My Place” in New Windsor, NY with the following attending: Sitler, Escobar, Epidy, Gunn, Bill Murphy, Cunningham, Wentink, Richichi, Caridi, Garrison, Irish, Gillespie, Lane, Hayes, Thorpe. (15 members).

The meeting opened with The Pledge of Allegiance and opening prayer.

Thanks to Linda Gunn for providing desserts.

Final Patrol: Noted was the passing of First Sergeant Ed Kusmierczyk (Troop A) age 80 on 7/26; Noreen Dechon, wife of Chapter member Charlie Dechon, age 69 on 8/4. Jamie O’Donnell, son of Chapter member James O’Donnell, age 45 on 8/11. Rest In Peace.

Sick Leave: VP Don Plunkett was back in the VA hospital, and sends his regards.

Heard from former Superintendent Jim McMahon. He is doing well and sends his regards to all.

The Chapter treasurers report was approved.

The 50/50 was won by Bob Caridi. The attendance award was won by Shawn Garrison.

The next regular meeting is Wednesday September 8th, at “My Place”.
